MN Breeding Doe Program

Information

Minnesota Bred & Owned is a promotional program established to recognize Minnesota producers while rewarding the 4-H exhibitors who showcase Minnesota bred livestock at the Minnesota State 4-H Fair.

AWARD

$100 premium for the Division Champion when purchased/leased from MNBGA member; $50 from non-member
$50 premium for the Division Reserve Champion when purchased/leased from MNBGA member; $25 from non-member

In each of the following Divisions:

Junior Breeding Doe Kid
Senior Breeding Doe Kid
Fall Yearling Breeding Doe
Junior Yearling Breeding Doe
Senior Yearling Breeding Doe

ELIGIBILITY

For animals to be eligible they must be Minnesota bred and will be verified in the following ways prior to payment:

Registered animals: the “breeder” on the registration paper must be a Minnesota producer
Non-registered animals: the USDA Scrapie Flock Certification Program tag must be from a Minnesota producer
